如果我们承认这个世界处于变动之中，一切事物都只是暂时聚合，最后不免于毁败。那么，今天你所目睹感受的一切，无非是幻梦一场，只是你不觉得是在梦中而已。你手拿房契存折，觉得那是坚固的。但是，等你死时不能带走一寸一毫。你拥抱着妻子儿女，觉得那是坚固的。但是，等儿女长大飞远，你死去妻子改嫁，又有什么是如你当初感觉一般坚固的？而你在这场大梦中，有诸多欲求恐惧，看到各种条条框框，就如同在梦中见到老虎一样，心存畏惧。可如果你明白自己现在是在做梦，那么你就可以和那头老虎一起玩。你可以揪它的胡须，拉它的尾巴，揉它的皮肤。我的朋友黄章晋，他曾经冲进主编室，按翻了痛打他的主编大人。在那一刻，他就是在玩老虎。我的另外一个小朋友暴暴蓝从北京辞职，去泸沽湖开了一家小客栈，她就在客栈里玩老虎。
世界上总有这种人，他们破坏了所有的规矩，挑战了所有的底线，让所有人都觉得心碎，也让所有人都觉得恼怒和焦虑。但是，隐隐约约之中，大家又从心底里羡慕他们。这种人或许可以被称为完整的人，老虎是他们的纹章。而人人都喜欢的人，鲜有不是大奸大恶之徒。一个人做到人人都喜欢，这本身就是可疑的。
